Hi, I am a .mac user who got upgraded to a .me user. Apple allows us to continue using our .mac email accounts, which I prefer to do for various reasons. Previously, I had .mac configured as a POP account, but I have now configured it as IMAP. I also added the .me account to Entourage as an IMAP account.
I figured out how to make incoming messages go to the Inbox on the computer, but I can¹t figure out how to make outgoing messages go to Sent Items on the computer. Is this possible? I¹m seeing strange things happen. Sometimes, when I click on the IMAP deleted items folder for the .me account, all the deleted messages move to my Inbox and I have to delete them again. Other times, the deleted messages disappear and I cannot find them anywhere. I prefer to be able to retrieve deleted messages for a while, so this is a problem. Also, when I click on the Sent Messages folders, sometimes the messages I¹ve sent will disappear and I cannot find them anywhere in Entourage or on the MobileMe web site. I prefer to save my sent messages, so this is really disturbing. Are these problems caused by having two IMAP accounts, one for .mac and the other for .me, that are effectively plugged into the same account? Or do I just have my accounts configured wrong?
