This is the default behavior if you don't tell Entourage to store sent messages somewhere else. Tools > Accounts > (your IMAP account) > Advanced > Special Folders\ > Are these problems caused by having two IMAP accounts, one for .mac and the > other for .me, that are effectively plugged into the same account? That seems unwise regardless.
