Awesome tree! I to have thought about the Forest before man distured it, many times. It must have been fantastic! 20-30 Million acres of Old Growth Long Leaf in the Southern US alone! Before Native Americans, some LL Pines would have been 50+ " Dia. The Live Oaks 30-40' CBH, Bald Cypress 30-60' CBH, White Oaks, Red Oaks 20' CBH+, etc. Wow! Wish I could have seen that. Larry
