Larry, Yes for the live oak stuff, when you are using the half a ellipsoid calculation, or the top portion of the sphere formula, or the one Bob has in progress, you need to subtract the height of the base of the crown from the total height of the tree I did this for the tree at the Catholic Church on the initial set of calculations.
