George, Larry

I too am growing some trees. Now that I am at home and not working, I
missed the little nursery I had started at the Convent where I had
worked. I have about 30-40 pots going with Oak, Hickory, and some odd
natives like chalk maple, horse sugar and silverbells. I usually
collect seed from the champion trees I visit. With permission of
course. The pots are by Rootmaker so the roots won't girdle
themselves. I use Farfard nursery mix for soil medium. leaves for
mulch. I will have to take some pics for you guys.

There is just something nice about working with small trees. Very
soothing.

Larry, if you want to bare root one of the Darlington oaks, I would
love to have one.
