Jenny-

The entire southeast third of the state is unglaciated, and that is part of
the Appalachian province, both geologically and culturally. The appearance
there is similar to eastern Kentucky or West Virginia, with big hills, but
no real mountains. Also, I-80 and I-90 converge just west of Cleveland, and
remain the same road until splitting again in Chicago.
