Bob: Tower and Embarrass are certainly colder than International Falls, which is included in one of the tables. As usual, small towns (under 1000 people) and remote weather stations are not included for the Midwest, but are included for other parts of the country.
Today's snow cover map finally shows 1-2 cm of "snowpack" in parts of northern MN, Upper Michigan, and the north side of Lake Superior.
