Russ, I was in northeastern Montana in the Glasgow/Nashua area last week. The lows in the open prairie were 10-15 degrees lower than those reported in the official observation locations. Not many trees to report on. Willows were short, cottonwoods were classicly formed riverside prairie trees, but none sizeable enough to mention.
