Someone requested pics, so I am listing some of Pennsylvania's largest
oaks here. Definitely not the biggest, but they are awesome to see.
I might bet that Pa. has the most documented large oak trees?

White oak 21.9 cbh limbs over 3' thick 87' tall

Bender Oak (hybrid) 21.8 cbh 87' tall red and scarlet hybrid.

Another Bender oak that died in 2003 was 29' cbh x 65' tall

The Wye Oak was 31.8 cbh and 96' tall

Maryland has a Swamp white oak that is 24.6 cbh and over 100' tall

They also have a 22x96 white oak in Calvert Md.

The live oaks don't have the height usually, but the girth is
incredible along with the branches. The middleton oak was
exceptional!
