Bob, I like technology but can rarely afford the better stuff, especially now. I am lucky to have a Suunto Clinometer and Nikon 440 rangefinder. I would love to have one of those TruPulse lasers like you have, and of course learn the skills required to use it. Yes, IPhones are cool too but it seems that with these " phones " that do everything, the technology comes at a price. I have problems with expensive phone bills. But yes, they are cool. A good friend of mine has an IPhone and loves it. I just wonder how that new Motorola Droid compares to it? I bet you have a clinometer app?
I hate boring dismal days like today. I am just sitting here wishing I was in the woods or fishing somewhere. It would not surprise me if Will Blozan is off somewhere in the forest. He seems weather immune! I did stumble across a good article James Smith posted awhile back. I met James at Congaree last year. http://tilthelasthemlockdies.blogspot.com/2007/11/great-smoky-mountains-national-park.html I hope some of you are forest bound.
