Would have liked to have zoomed in on the branchlettes...couldn't tell if I was 
seeing peg-like stipules.

My guesses for the trio are:

Tsuga heterophylla

Tsuga mertensiana

Juniperus occidentalis

Nice yard!

Here are photos of three North American, but not eastern, native conifers, each 
from a different genus. Photos 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6 go together. The first one is 
about 6' in height, the second about 14', and the third about 7'. All are 
growing in my yard in N Ohio. Any guesses?
