Dear EOSers,
I am experimenting with a home-made reversal ring for my 28-70
MkII.

Q1: Has anyone any experience in this kind of technology? Any
comments as to (for instance) picture quality, applicability...(?)

My first attempt to convey a signal from the camera body (EOS
500N) to the lense has failed. I connected each respective contact
by a simple wire. The lamp test shown that connections had been
established; however, the camera did not recognised the lense.

Q2: Can I attribute the failure to imperfections in connection? Is EF
mount really so sensitive to resistance variations?
Q3: Do I need to connect all 8 (7) contacts if I am concerned just in
the transfer of f stops and diaphragm control? Is there any available
resource where to find details on EF mount ("which contact does
what")?

Perhaps my questions sound too technical; I will appreciate any
comments. Thank you.
