Friends, To those of you who have the D30 or know about it, how would
you compare the latitude of the image as compared to slide or negative
film? For example, negative film is reputed to have an extra three
stops of latitude when printing.

Will we still need to bracket? Can we only bracket exposure or will we
be able to bracket contrast or color balance?

Will we be able to tell by viewing the image on the back of the camera
and know if we've nailed the exposure and sharpness? Before or after
making the exposure?

If you make some bad exposures in the field, do you delete them then, or
when you get back to your car and have some extra time, or when you get
back home and get hooked up to your computer?

Also, can anyone recommend a good price, brand or place to buy a 1 gig
card? Thanks.

Ray Amos, RS
