You'll need a transmitter of some sort for E-TTL remote flash:
* EOS-3 base + ST-E2 wireless transmitter ==> remote 550ex /420ex
* EOS-3 base + 550ex mounted ==> remote 550ex / 420ex
Oh yeah, the macro ring light (forgot the number) also can send the remote
flash signal.
I think the new EOS-7e has the transmitter built into its pop-up flash
unit, right?
