It is a nice lens... I just need an excuse. Its size makes it harder to 
find a space in the camera bag.. so it would get relegated to the 'take 
only when really needed' place. I understand Canon doesn't make that many 
of them, leading them to be a thing not found on most shelves.

Actually, it's the 200/1.8L that Photodo rates so highly: 4.8, the 
highest average weighted MTF score they have ever given a lens.
