It's $172.00 and if my calculations are right, it would give me a 190mm f/8
IS Lens from my 28-135 lens, because my lens is f/5.6 at the 135mm end. I
would then lose autofocus, I guess, on my EOS 7E.
Not too impressive... because I would only get f/16 exposure by stopping
down just a little to get decent resolution. However, on a tripod, f/16 is
quite OK.
I wonder how this Kenko TC would do on a Canon 300 f/4L IS Lens... 420mm
f/5.6 with IS is tempting... Is the Kenko Pro 300 1.4x TC really as good as
the Canon? Are there tests of these things somewhere?
