I thought E-TTL was enabled in all modes on all bodies capable of it.
I somehow think Manual mode uses E-TTL as well on those bodies.
Since alot of people would be using M mode with E-TTL, I don't see why it
would be disabled in M mode.
Oh I do wish Canon had put a simple switch on the 380EX and the 420EX to go
to TTL mode. What were they thinking? In a way, I'm glad I have only TTL
with the 380EX on my old EOS 10, but I just wish I had flash compensation,
that's the only thing I am missing. Is there a body that has FEC but no
E-TTL with the 380EX? I would upgrade to the 550EX if it wasn't alot bigger,
I like the little 380EX.
