Have I made a big mistake in getting a 550EX for use with my EOS1n? The
specs on the UK website suggest it doesn't even offer A-TTL. It hasn't
arrived yet, so I've not had chance to read through the manual. Will I be
able to apply flash exposure compensation? Can I bracket?
The reason I got the 550EX was that I was after a decent condition, second
hand flash and wanted one that would work with the D30 if (when?) I get
one. I really wanted a 420EX but they are too new to be available used and
I just happen to encounter a dealer willing to heavily discount it in
combination with a used 135mm f2 L (which I'm really looking forward to
using!).
