I purchased the 550EZ to use on a D30 when I discovered that a 540EZ only
works in manual mode on the D30, which happened to be in a press conference,
an hour after picking up the D30!
The 550EZ works on the EOS1n in TTL mode, as the EOS1n is a type B camera it
is pretty poor at controlling a flashgun, thats why I prefer to use an
EOS50e when I want to take flash shots.
If I was aware of how badly an EOS1n performs with a flashgun I would have
purchased and EOS3 instead of the EOS1n.
