Hi Jaakko, I don't think you should change direction on the body you are
looking at. I regularly use the EOS3 for professional sports work and know
several other full-time photographers who do also, very successfully. I
don't believe that the -3 suffers any more at f5.6 than the -1v or others. I
wouldn't recommend either the 75-300 or 28-135 for fast sports work though.
