It is safe to assume that it will fit on the Elan 7, since it ( the
"C" model) is included on the accessory sheet that came with the
camera - at least with mine. In fact the description on that sheet
says " With the two adaptors provided, it can be attached to all EOS
cameras."
I'm very interested in the responses to your questions becuase I have
exactly the same ones!
