Angle Finder B comes with the adapter. The documentation says it works on
all EOS except A2 and A2E, but this was written before the Elan 7 and EOS
1V.

Angle Finder B will not fit the Elan 7e, and there's no adapter available
for it. The eyepiece on the 7 isn't the same as the Elan II, I believe
because of the built-in dioptric adjuster on the 7. I THINK the Angle
Finder C can be used on the Elan 7/7e.

I can't really answer for your application...I used the B with a Rebel and
found it quite helpful when I wanted a lower perspective for kids or dogs.

I think you're stuck with the C :) I can't imagine that it wouldn't swivel.
