I would recommend steering clear of Smile Photo. In early January I
placed an order for an item that they said was in stock. When it had
not arrived two weeks later, I called (long distance as they won't
handle order status calls on the 800 number) and was told that it would
ship "tomorrow". Three more calls and each time they said that it
would ship "later today or tomorrow". On the last call I canceled
the order! Today I received my Amex statement and found that Smile
Photo had charged my account back in early January. I called
Smile Photo again and inquired about the inappropriate billing and
was told that it was an error and that a credit had been issued to
Amex. Called Amex and was told that no credit had been received
from Smile Photo.
I guess that they "smile" all the way to the bank with your money.
