I beleive there is a kit of Singh-Ray or Hi-Tech glass filters available
from B&H that really reduces the price if you buy about 3 filters. Try
digging around in their online listings. IIRC it was about 3 filters
for nearly the price of a single one from the other manufacturers (I
think it was around a hundred for the kit).
The Tiffen price doesn't seem bad either though. $427 is, however,
rediculous. As to problems with your lenses, it might well vignette on
the 17-35 with any regular holder. Lee does make a single filter holder
that won't stick out too far, but it still might vignette at the wide end.
Good luck,
Mike
