I would just like to add, that of cause you should consider all the
different focal lengths (85mm, 100mm and 135mm) as discussed previously.
However, you told in your very first mail, that you would like suggestions
for a portrait lens for INDOOR use!
In my apartment, longer than 85mm works only when cropping tight. If I want
a less tighter crop, even the 85mm can be limiting... so I suggest that you
take this into account also.
Just one more thing: if you use a zoom lens (e.g., 28-135) to specify your
"focal-length needs", be aware that the focal length of the zoom various
tremendously with focusing distance - especially at short focusing
distances! I.e., the zoom barrel might tell you that 100mm is appropriate,
but actually the true focal length is more like 85mm. Hmmm, it's difficult
to explain in English - I hope you get my point ;-)
