It was interesting to see that Pentax did announce their new 6 megapixel
full size (24mm X 36mm) sensor SLR:

Not sure if they announced any final dates. But it's gotten me excited
about the future of digital SLR's. But at $7000, that future will be a long
ways off for me!!
