    Well autofocus works just fine with my EOS 10 up to F8. As to your
F-stop misreading, perhaps the lens needs an upgrade? Or perhaps it just
doesn't register right. Very likely you will find it really is a 6.7 lens,
but camera is reporting it differently, and adjusting SS to compensate in
exposure.
