Hi Grega,

With the 500, I believe they called it "wide area"
focusing, which actually meant 3 AF points, selectable
only by the camera, but the focusing screen only
showed AF area marks (the outside of the AF area or
something like that), not 3 individual AF points.  So
it didn't look look it had 3 point AF, but actually
did.

You could actually select the centre AF point with the
AE lock button, but not the other 2.
