Then get a 540 EX flash. It will work great using TTL on your older
camera, and give you E-TTL on your newer camera body. I got a 380EX for my
old EOS 10 and like the way it uses TTL so much I'm not in a hurry to
upgrade. It should give you ability to flash compensate, and will work just
fine with any EOS camera.
