No. it does not swivel. However I use mine to control 3 550ex units and place the ST-E2
on a mini tripod on thedesk beside me. It is connected to the camera through an off
shoe cord. May seem strange and certainly is not apprppriate for most wireless setups
but it works for my particular need. You can
point it anywhere
you like then. BTW, the ST-E2 uses a 2CR5 battery. That is the only downside to it IMO.
