Hello all,

I've outgrown my Rebel 2000 and I'm looking to upgrade to a slightly better
camera. I would really like one with a faster frame/second rate (for shooting
wildlife) and with mirror lockup. The ability to select the metering method
would be nice to and a build in spot meter would be icing on the cake. I'm
considering the Elan 7 but I have several sigma and tokina lenses. I can get
the sigma's upgraded (if they are still doing that) but I don't know about the
Tokina's. Anyone know of site that you can check Tokina lens compatability
with the new Elan 7? I'm also considering getting a used Elan, which would
work nicely for me and save some $$$ and shouldn't have any lens compatability
problems. What about the A2?? How big of problem is the fragile command dial?
Can those still be fixed? How expensive is that? The used A2's seem to sell
for a lot less than the Elan 7's... What lens compatability with the A2??
Anyone have any thoughts on how these 3 camera's compare? Almost all of my
photography would be landscapes and wildlife...

Thanks for any input or suggestions!!

Scott
