No, it is not the IS version. She used a beanbag for some of her shots and
handheld with others. The handheld ones are all soft. The cat is, of course
smaller in the frame but some of her supported shots are acceptably
sharp-good enough for club competitions etc. (the 300/f4IS is noticable
better; even with the 1.4x). With the 10x loupe, the 75-300 is not allways
very good at 300. She has meanwhile bought a 100-400IS and sold the 75-300.
