Hi all,
ETTL metering uses the evaluative matrix to determine the "correct"
exposure. With the use of a CF you can link the E-TTL Metering to the
current focusing point or otherwise it defaults to the center point.
We also know that the evaluative algorithms sometimes are playing odd
tricks and switching to partial metering gives you more control over the
exposure (or spot for the lucky ones). Thomas Bantel explained them very
good yesterday.
Now I ask myself if E-TTL is being affected by the selected metering
mode?? Or are we *always* at the merci of the Evaluative calculations
for flash exposure... ???
Greetings,
Gerard.
