I have a 28-135 IS and am experimenting with large DOF.
Using the 28 mm end:
Say you have a flower in front of you and a mountain far in the background,
how far would dare to stop down and how close do you get to
that flower to obtain the best result.
I've tried using DOF preview but its too dark at such a small f stop.
So I assume this technique is obtained with trial and error and
specific measurements and settings have been obtained for you to repeat.
So for those who have done this, please share your insight.
Also if you could, how about the 24mm lens.
