Hi:
I'm interested in upgrading from my 28-200 (3.5 to 5.6)lens to a set
of TWO to THREE lenses. I own two canon elan II's and am interested
in travel and family/personal photography. My objectives are to take
terrific pictures (both print and slides) with the occasional (a few
a year) enlargements. I have no professional aspirations.
Convenience is important. Budget: $1000 to $1500.
I have convinced myself that I should get relatively fast lenses (2.8
and faster). The kind of package I envision is something like: the sigma
28-70 2.8, a moderately fast 70-200 and a 50mm or 35mm 1.8 lens. I would
be grateful for specific brand/lens recommendations for such an
intermediate/advanced
amateur lens package.
