If speed was the only issue, yes, I agree. But try and use the F1 racing car
to pick up three passengers to go for a drive across country and see what
happens then?

I think the point is, equipment CAN make us better photographers, but not
necesserily, but what WILL make us better photographers is a thorough
understanding of the equipment we have and a will to learn, adapt and be
creative.
