But seriously, for me the biggest drawback - mind you I don't shoot
digital YET - will always be the lack of the film as a *medium.* I
love that aspect of it - being able to choose particular film and then
see how it responds to different treatment. There's a great
satisfaction in learning and exploiting its character, and I
personally don't want to standardize it. Not that I don't see many
benefits to digital, particularly for web publishing. I will
certainly add it to my kit eventually.
