The computer industry is full of examples of how long digital data can be
stored. I see the longevity of storing digital images as being way less of
an issue that keeping slides and negatives stored safely and lasting as long
as my own lifetime. I have many old Kodachrome slides that are awful as the
color deteriates over time even when they have been stored in a safe box in
the right temperature. So, no negative here for me!
