Some of my pro hockey-shooting chums use the D30. Ice hockey is the
most challenging subject I've yet found for an AF system. I'll let
you draw your own conclusions.

That is my biggest turn off regarding the D30 - I believe the frame
rate when in AI Servo focus is even less than 3fps.
Please do not forget that the D30 is NOT aimed at the professional
user.
