OK, less, but not without.  I should know this.  I shot the cover of a
pipe organ brochure (LOTS of straight lines!! plus the church had
vertical wood paneling - oh for a T&S)  with my old FD 28mm prime, and
it shows less BD than any of my zooms.  I should go back and shoot the
instrument with all three of my 28mm-capable zooms and compare.
