No. I sent in an EOS 5 to them to have the mode dial modified, and it came
back as an EOS 5. In fact, if you send an A2E to them, they can "convert"
the firmware to an EOS 5 for an additional $20. I don't know how much it
costs for the new EOS 5 face plate though.
