I have the 100-400/4.5-5.6L IS Lens, to which I sometimes add the Canon
1.4X TC, which I use for birds, at 560mm.
Of course, I lose autofocus, but this isn't too bad, as I can focus manually.
f/8 isn't too hard to focus manually, but not all my shots are in perfect
focus, however... and autofocus is faster.
