My 630s are in storage at the moment (I've just got back from a year
travelling). I'll be retrieving them in the next week or two, and I'll do a
direct side-by-side comparison with my EOS 3, then email the list. But I
frequently used to use my 630s with my two IS lenses before I bought my EOS
3 in October 1999, and I did not notice any viewfinder shaking.
Incidentally, my 100-400 developed viewfinder shake with my EOS 3 (and any
camera body, in fact) after a few months, and Canon ended up exchanging it
for a new lens. But that was unrelated to what we are discussing here.
