Contact your Canon Service dept. and give them the serial number of the
camera, their data base records production software version as well as any
Canon done software upgrades. However version 1.6 was short lived, and
units built later than fall 99 (date code N09xx) or later should have had
latest software, (version 1.7 ) So says my local CPS service rep. and
their data base did in fact show my body was rev 1.5 bult end of '98 code
data M1205 (in film chamber)
