Hi Robert,
You bring up yet another interesting point. The Elan 7 is
the first Canon camera with "cursor keys", similar to Nikon
F100 "cursor pad".
It could have been worse: did you ever try using a Canon
camcorder with a control stick, like an IBM 'Trackpoint"
control? Ugggh, for both the camcorder and trackpoint.
So, are you using CF11=2 to select focus points?
How do you remember which wheel to turn for up and down,
or left and right :-(
Was it any better with CF11=1 (select button not required)?
