Re: EOS EF 50/1.8 Mk.1 price

OK, I am now the proud owner of a new-old  50/1.8 Mk.1.  When they
told me there was a 30-day guarantee for full refund, that sealed it.
Sure looks stubby after walking around with a 28-135 for a while!
Nice and light though, I li-i-i-ke it.

 In MF mode the focusing ring has a slightly "sandy" feeling - is that
unusual?   Otherwise glass is spotless and the exterior is a 9.

Out shooting a 12-exp roll of film to test it today.
