Thanks. That's an honor :-)

I'm not sure which one is showing on film. I'm using Bulb with 2-sec MLU
triggered by the RC-1. In the 50E, the assist light blinks during the
'count-down' (2-sec MLU) as well as when I trigger the end of the
exposure.
The reflection of one of the two is being registered on film. My guess
is that the light-feedback at the end of the exposure is happening while
the shutter is still open, hence registering on the film... Crazy
thing... 36 frames with a red 'beauty point' to the garbage (or to
Photoshop, but they're not worth anyway)

With the 50E you don't have Modelling Flash as such, but I simulate it
by using the strobo mode with 50&50Hz and ( I think, I'm not sure since
I played a lot with that) I trigger it manually by pressing the test
button, but that doesn't allow me to stand where I need to to see the
setup.

No harsh shadows until now. The sanded glass and the silver foil are
working quite good. The ilumination is very even.

> 4) Can you use flash bounced off a ceiling/wall/reflector?

No. It will put light where I don't want it. If I light the camera,
it'll show up, black cardboard or not. The same with walls, tripod, or
even myself. The less light and the more direction, the better. Placing
black cardboard at the back of the aquarium made a mirror of it.

Ok... to satisfy your curiosity... :-)
I'm doing some open-flash stuff. Letting things fall down in the water
and trying to freeze the moment. All hand-timed... 3...2....1 .... NOW!!
trigger in one hand, a "thing" in the other and the rest is for the
luck. No good results until now, but I'm getting there. I've been
working 4 months on it already. Lots of film to the garbage, but that's
the fun, isn't it?
Now I've to stop temporarily since my crappy tripod finally died of a
"broken neck". It was already sick and went several times into my
Frankenstein-like 'ER'. Now waiting for a Manfrotto to go back to work.

Greetings,

Gerard.
