I will be renting a 550EX this weekend and I am not sure if it will come with a
manual. Are there any recommended sites to visit to get more information about the
flash unit?
I have an Elan 7E and I have recently been very disappointed in the on-camera flash.
I tried taking a picture of my dog and, while his face was covered by the flash, the
flash wasn't powerful enough to cover his whole body. My wife and I are having a baby
shower this weekend (it will be a girl!) and I would like to take a group picture of
everyone that attends. I figure that I will need a more powerful flash to cover the
entire group, so I am renting the 550EX. (the room isn't very well lit and it is
difficult to take outdoor photos when it is 105 degrees outside). Any tips would be
helpful.
