Hi,
Just like others said, it depends on what and how you shoot. I used to have
Canon 28-135IS and sold it in favor of Tokina 28-80 ATX Pro 2.8. I prefer
fast glass, and Tokina ahs great glass too without costing as much as Canon
L.
You can read more about it on my web site, in Photography --> Reviews section.
But in short, I'm more satisfied with Tokina, than I was with Canon 28-135IS.
Although, Canon is a great "ONE LENS" setup for travel snapshots with good
optics and IS is great too. As I got more into slides vs prints, Tokina
produces better images for me. So, its a matter of taste and your shooting
style.
