Are you satisfied with the Tokina and the images you are able to make
with it?  Seems to me you've repeatedly praised it.

There must be dozens of reasons to account for differences of viewfinder
brightness.  So, who cares? - you're not affected by vignetting or other complaint.

Stop worrying.  Go out and take some more pictures.
